# The Cashier

The **Cashier** is Omno's hosted checkout. Omno renders the payment UI — method selection, card entry, APM and crypto flows, KYC prompts — and your customer completes payment inside it. You create a session on your backend and open it on your frontend.

## What it does

- Accepts **card, APM and crypto** in one UI, and supports **card payouts**.
- Handles **deposit and withdrawal** in a single session.
- Shows only the methods allowed by the session settings and by [eligibility filtering](/guides/concepts/routing) for that customer.
- Prompts for any **missing KYC** fields the chosen provider requires.
- Supports **saved cards** and can be themed with the Cashier Builder in the dashboard.
- Opens as a modal, inside a container you provide, or as a mobile bottom sheet.


## Two options

| **[Full Cashier](/cashier/full-cashier)** | The complete checkout: multiple methods, deposit + withdrawal, KYC, saved cards. | You want the most capable Omno-hosted checkout. |
| **[Single Payment](/cashier/single-payment)** | A focused, single-column checkout for **one** method (card, APM or crypto), with an optional fixed amount. | You want a simple, one-method deposit — or you're replacing the legacy Payment Page. |


> ℹ️ **Replacing Payment Page.** The legacy Payment Page is not supported for new integrations. Its replacement is **Cashier Single Payment — Card**. See [Single Payment](/cashier/single-payment).


## How a session is secured

Creating a Cashier session returns a `sessionId` and a per-session **Cashier token** (a JWT). The token is **mandatory** to open the session and expires with it (15 minutes). It authorizes only that one session. See [Sessions & tokens](/guides/concepts/sessions-and-tokens).
