# Transaction metadata

`TransactionMetadata` (on the pay-in and payout transaction) carries the risk and device signals Omno collected for the transaction. Use them for your own risk decisions and support investigations.

| `deviceType` | Device inferred for the transaction. | `MOBILE`, `DESKTOP`, `TABLET`, `UNKNOWN` |
| `proxyDetection` | Proxy / VPN / Tor detection and risk scoring. | `proxy`, `vpn`, `tor`, `fraud_score`, `connection_type`, `country_code` |
| `emailValidation` | Email validity and risk signals. | `valid`, `disposable`, `deliverability`, `fraud_score`, `recent_abuse` |
| `phoneValidation` | Phone validity and risk signals. | `valid`, `active`, `line_type`, `carrier`, `fraud_score`, `recent_abuse` |


> ℹ️ **Note:** These signals are populated by Omno's providers; individual sub-fields may be absent depending on the provider response.
