Purpose

This API is built for businesses and developers who need to interact with online payment systems. It helps you create and manage payment transactions, route transactions through various payment service providers, manage refunds, and export and import routing rules.

The OMNO Transaction API can be used by:

  • E-commerce platforms: Simplify your checkout process by integrating OMNO's payment management features. With the API, you can process payments, manage refunds, and more, all from within your platform.
  • Developers: Build custom integrations with OMNO Transaction API for creating and managing online payments and other transaction-related operations in your applications.
  • Payment Service Providers (PSPs): Connect your PSP to the OMNO Transaction API to be part of the transaction routing rules, allowing businesses to choose your service as part of their transaction processing flow.

Using the API

To use the API, you must first authenticate your application. OMNO Transaction API uses OAuth 2.0 client credentials grant type for machine-to-machine authentication. After authentication, an access token will be returned, which can be used to authorize the API calls.

The API is organized around REST principles. It uses standard HTTP response codes and verbs and token-based authentication. All responses return JSON.
